Joseph Caprio

Founder & IT/Security Consultant

Joseph Caprio is the founder of Uptime AI & Security and currently serves as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He combines hands-on IT and cybersecurity leadership with the practical perspective of a small-business owner, helping businesses make technology decisions that fit the way they actually work.

Joseph holds an Associate of Applied Science in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University and the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credential. In July 2026, he completed the Post Graduate Program in Generative AI for Business Applications through The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business. His credentials also include Acronis Cloud Tech Associate - Advanced Disaster Recovery.

His approach centers on useful automation, clear communication, resilient systems, and human accountability.
